Purpose is our 8th grade youth group that meets weekly on Sunday evenings from 5-6:30pm in the Youth Center/Parish Hall. We spend time together as a large group learning about the beauty, tradition, and teachings of the Catholic Church while preparing the young people for the Sacrament of Confirmation, and then break into small groups to discuss how we live out the teachings as faithful Catholics. We end each night with an encounter experience such as Eucharistic Adoration, Bible reading, Lectio Divina, guided prayer, etc. to authentically spend time with the Living God. Our Confirmation preparation also includes a weekend retreat.
