The Family Ministry began with a team of individuals from the parish who responded to the invitation to look at what families of St. Sebastian area needed and how the parish community could help. We specifically wanted to ‘fill in the gap’ between what families needed and what was already available. We used prayer and reflection, our knowledge and experiences to identify the many types of families (two-parent and one-parent households, etc.) what families need in today’s environment to be successful. From the needs list we researched agencies and ngo’s in the three-county area to see what was already available in the area. We took all that information and put it into one document to have readily available for people who asked for help. Click on the button below to view that document.
